Environmental and Vegetarian Practices

Welcome to the Magnolia Zen Center, where we commit to living harmoniously with nature and fostering sustainable practices. As we embrace solar power and vegetarianism, we encourage all residents and guests to join us in nurturing our environment and promoting health. Here are the guidelines we follow:

  • As our center is powered by solar energy, we encourage the mindful use of electrical appliances.
  • Please switch off lights, chargers, and electronic devices when not in use to conserve.
  • All meals provided at the center are vegetarian, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We support local agriculture that practices sustainable farming.
  • Our vegetarian diet is designed to be nutritious and balanced, supporting both your physical and spiritual health. If you have specific dietary needs, please inform our kitchen staff.
  • Please be mindful of your water usage.
  • Take shorter showers, turn off taps while brushing your teeth, and immediately report any leaks to our maintenance team.
  • Separate waste into recyclables, compostables, and trash according to the bins provided.

Your cooperation with these guidelines is crucial for our collective sustainability efforts. We are always open to suggestions that can help improve our environmental practices. Please feel free to share your ideas with us.
